Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a customer-facing product engineering team focused on Command and Control and AI-driven autonomous systems. You will work with sensors, actuators, unmanned platforms, and real-time data workflows to enable safe, reliable deployments in military and civilian contexts.

You will design, implement, and integrate cloud and edge software across complex mission sets, interfacing with sensors and real-time systems, while collaborating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years contributing to system design/architecture of new and existing systems.
• 2+ years as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, Python, C++, or Java.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize software for mission-critical autonomous systems.
• Develop algorithms to process data from heterogeneous sensors for real-time state estimation and threat detection.
• Build LLM and AI-driven systems capable of assessing threats and rapidly making decisions.
• Develop integrations with sensors, effectors, and autonomous platforms.
• Engineer scalable, reliable, and fail-safe systems for high-stakes environments.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
