Job summary

Palantir in New York seeks a Senior Software Engineer for a customer-facing product team building C2 and autonomous systems software. You will integrate sensors, actuators, and AI-driven components to enable robotic missions and real-time decision making.

You will design, implement, and optimize mission-critical software, mentor peers, and collaborate with robotics experts to deliver robust solutions; 5+ years' experience and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years contributing to system design/architecture of new or existing systems.
• 2+ years as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize software for mission-critical autonomous systems.
• Develop algorithms to process data from heterogeneous sensors for real-time state estimation and threat detection.
• Build LLM and AI-driven systems capable of rapid decision making to deploy responses.
• Develop integrations with sensors, effectors, and autonomous platforms.
• Engineer scalable, reliable, and fail-safe systems for high-stakes environments.
• Collaborate with robotics, hardware, and system integrators to deliver integrated solutions.
