Job summary

The Texas A&M University System Offices seeks a Research Engineer II–IV to develop and maintain integrated simulation environments in the SIL. You will work with the Air Ground Cooperation team to integrate autonomous flight control systems into flight simulators and coordinate engagements with emergency responders.

Focus is on HWIL and Unreal Engine work. Senior roles require leadership in building missions and assets within real-time simulators, and collaboration with Research IT to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the integrated simulation environment.
• Support integration of autonomous flight control systems into flight simulation platforms.
• Engage with wildland firefighters and emergency responders to gather requirements.
