Job summary
Amazon is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Autonomy Platform, Data and Tools team in Massachusetts to help advance onboard mapping, perception, motion planning, and control software for our autonomous warehouse robot. You will contribute to ML training and deployment pipelines and collaborate with engineers and scientists across the team.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Knowledge of SDLC, coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Optimizing runtime performance of core algorithms by exploiting hardware acceleration.
- Integrating new sensors and hardware components into the autonomy software stack.
- Developing and customizing JetPack based platform and OS.
- Building data pipelines and tools for ML development flywheel.
- Developing software for remote diagnostics, recovery and control of autonomous robots.
- Building visualization tools for analyzing and debugging robot behavior.
- Designing software interfaces for hardware testing and manufacturing processes.
