The Amazon Robotics Autonomous Mobility software team develops the autonomy software that powers Proteus, Amazon’s first fully autonomous warehouse robot. We are growing and are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Platform, Data and Tools team. You will be part of an exceptional group of engineers building the platform and architecture for our onboard mapping, perception, motion planning and control software. In addition, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists across the team to develop and enhance our ML training and deployment pipelines.
We are a multi-disciplinary organization of collaborative Applied Scientists and Software Engineers with expertise in Computer Vision, SLAM, motion planning, controls, embedded development, and more. Our mission is to deliver autonomous navigation software that utilizes state‑of‑the‑art sensor technologies and algorithms to enable safe and efficient operation of autonomous mobile robots throughout the Amazon fulfillment and transportation network. We take this mission seriously and work hard to achieve it, but we have a lot of fun along the way.

Salary: $143,700.00 – $194,400.00 USD annually
