Job summary

Heven AeroTech is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer, Autonomy, to advance perception, tracking, sensor fusion, planning, and mission-level decisions for unmanned aircraft systems. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to move autonomy from development through simulation, integration, ground tests, to flight tests.

The role emphasizes real-time AI on onboard compute and rigorous software practices. The team values capable engineers proficient in C++ and Python, with Linux-based development

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in CS/EE/Robotics or related field.
• 2–5 years of ML or autonomy software experience on robotic/UAS platforms.
• Strong C++ and Python skills; Linux-based development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML and autonomy capabilities for uncrewed aircraft.
• Create perception, sensor fusion, planning and mission-level autonomy.
• Integrate autonomy software with flight-control, mission computers, and sensors.
• Collaborate with ML, Platform, Flight Test, and avionics teams.
