Job summary

Applied Intuition in Poway, California is seeking an AcuityOS Engineer to develop, deploy, and maintain autonomous capabilities in real-world environments. This role involves hands-on deployment on vehicles, ensuring systems function in dynamic scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have an MS or PhD in a relevant field or considerable experience in multi-agent autonomy, with strong skills in programming, specifically in C++. The position requires field and office work and may involve some travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Linux and command-line tools.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++ (most work is in C++).
• Hands-on experience with robotic systems, sensors (e.g., RADAR, cameras), and vehicle autopilots.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and validate software systems on autonomous vehicles.
• Participate in hands-on fieldwork, deploying software on vehicles.
• Work directly with sensors and vehicle autopilot systems.
