Job summary

Towards AI, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Staff Engineer, Software Integration to lead the integration and validation of an autonomy platform.

You will configure, deploy and validate multi-agent systems across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight environments to ensure a seamless developer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new autonomy algorithms, perception pipelines, and middleware, architect integration frameworks, and optimize deployment scripts

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Robotics or related field with 7+ years’ experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
Proficient in Python or C++, with experience in autonomous systems or middleware.
Strong CI/CD experience and ability to design integration workflows.

Responsibilities

Integrate, validate and improve an autonomy platform to streamline developer experience.
Configure and deploy multi-agent systems across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate autonomy algorithms, perception pipelines, and middleware into the product.
Architect integration frameworks and deployment scripts to move capabilities into various environments.
Analyze system logs and telemetry to diagnose defects and optimize integration workflows.
Validate system requirements to ensure compliance and reliability for mission-ready autonomous systems.
