Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in Wilkes-Barre, PA, across private residences and senior living communities. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based therapy, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and utilizing telehealth when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults wherever they call home (private residences, senior living communities, etc.).
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, mobility, and functional independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate.
