Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Tester III to validate autonomous vehicle software through real-world and simulation testing, and to help refine validation strategies.

You will work with engineering teams to improve testing workflows, automate routine checks, and ensure robust system validation across platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on testing with autonomous systems and test infrastructure, alongside documenting defects and contributing to automation efforts for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, hardware testing, validation engineering, or quality assurance roles.
• Experience working in both real-world and simulation-based testing environments.
• Basic scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar tools for automation or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support advanced validation testing of autonomous vehicle software in real-world and simulation environments.
• Develop and execute scalability and system validation strategies to ensure reliable system performance.
• Troubleshoot complex system behaviors observed during testing and collaborate with engineers to diagnose root causes.
• Analyze test data and system performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Document and track defects using Jira and Jama.
