Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) in the Fort Worth area seeks a Field Tester II to support operation, testing, deployment, and validation of autonomous vehicle platforms in real-world environments.

You will execute structured test procedures, collect data, and provide detailed feedback to the engineering team. As a Level II contributor, you will work with test engineers, software teams, and field operations to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant vehicle performance, while documenting conditions

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in field testing or hands-on technical role.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or robotics platforms.
• Ability to follow structured test instructions and procedures.
• Experience identifying and communicating issues.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, software, or vehicle systems.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Willingness to travel and work nonstandard hours.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle platforms during field testing.
• Execute structured test plans, procedures, and scenarios.
• Perform vehicle inspections, setup, calibration, and pre-test checks.
• Monitor system behavior and identify safety concerns.
• Document test conditions, results, and observations.
• Collect logs, photos, videos, and measurements.
• Reproduce issues and assist engineers with troubleshooting.
• Perform regression testing after software updates.
• Support installation, inspection, and basic maintenance of sensors and systems.
• Provide feedback on usability and performance.
• Assist with customer demonstrations and deployments.
• Communicate progress and equipment needs to team.
• Maintain equipment and work areas; follow safety policies.
• Contribute to testing procedures and checklists.
