This project-based role may last 2–4 years, with up to 60% travel and hands-on work with test vehicles and infrastructure. As a Level III contributor, you will improve testing efficiency, collaborate with engineering teams, and implement basic scripting to support automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in software/hardware testing or validation
• Experience in real-world and simulation testing environments
• Familiarity with robotics or autonomous systems
• Basic scripting using Python or Bash
• Experience with bug-tracking tools Jira and Jama
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate with software and test teams
• Willingness to operate heavy equipment during training

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced validation testing in real-world and simulation environments
• Develop scalability and validation strategies for reliable performance
• Troubleshoot complex system behaviors and diagnose root causes
• Contribute to test automation with basic scripting
• Analyze test data and performance metrics to spot trends
• Operate and test construction/heavy equipment under safety protocols
• Collaborate with engineering and scrum teams for software releases
• Document defects in Jira and Jama
• Support integration testing and test infrastructure
• Suggest improvements to testing methodologies and processes
• Participate in on-site and off-site test operations to meet objectives
