Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Tester II to support operation, testing, deployment, and validation of ASI's autonomous vehicle platforms in real-world environments.

This role executes structured test procedures, operates manual and autonomous equipment, collects system data, documents vehicle behavior, and helps engineering teams identify and reproduce issues discovered during testing. As a Level II contributor, you will independently perform testing activities and provide

Qualifications

• Two to five years of field testing or related hands-on role.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, robotics platforms, or similar machinery.
• Ability to safely operate equipment following structured procedures and test instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving in field environments.
• Clear communication with engineers, operators, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work nonstandard hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, remote-controlled, semi-autonomous, and autonomous vehicle platforms during field testing.
• Execute structured test plans, procedures, and operational scenarios.
• Complete vehicle inspections, setup, calibration, and pre-test readiness checks.
• Monitor vehicle and system behavior and identify safety or performance issues.
• Document test conditions, results, and observations accurately.
• Collect and organize logs, photos, videos, and measurements.
