Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Tester II to support operation, testing, deployment, and validation of autonomous vehicle platforms in real-world environments.

You will execute structured test procedures, operate manual, remote-controlled, semi-autonomous, and autonomous systems, and help engineering teams identify and reproduce issues found during testing. As a Level II contributor, you will conduct assigned testing activities, provide detailed feedback on system performance

Qualifications

• Two to five years of field testing or related hands-on technical experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, industrial vehicles, robotics platforms, or similar machinery.
• Ability to follow structured test instructions and document results accurately.
• Experience identifying and communicating mechanical, electrical, software, or operational issues.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, computer, or vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate fielded vehicle platforms (manual, remote, semi-autonomous, autonomous) during testing.
• Execute structured test plans and report results.
• Perform vehicle inspections, setup, calibration, and pre-test readiness checks.
• Monitor system behavior and flag safety or performance concerns.
• Document test conditions, results, and observations with accuracy.
• Collect logs, photos, videos, and test data for analysis.
• Reproduce issues and assist engineers in root-cause investigation.
• Support software regression testing and system updates.
• Assist with sensor and system installation, inspection, and maintenance.
