Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Tester III to validate autonomous vehicle software through real-world and simulation testing, contributing to scalable validation strategies and troubleshooting complex system behaviors.

The role involves hands-on interaction with test vehicles and supporting infrastructure, collaborating with software, systems, and test teams, and supporting on-site and off-site operations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, hardware testing, validation engineering, or quality assurance roles.
• Experience in real-world and simulation-based testing environments.
• Familiarity with validating complex software systems, ideally within robotics or autonomous systems.
• Basic scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar tools for automation or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support advanced validation testing of autonomous vehicle software in real-world and simulation environments.
• Develop and execute scalability and system validation strategies for reliable performance.
• Troubleshoot complex system behaviors and work with engineering teams to diagnose root causes.
• Contribute to test automation with basic scripting in Python or Bash.
