Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) in Utah seeks a Field Tester II to support operation, testing, deployment, and validation of our autonomous vehicle platforms in real-world environments.

You will execute structured test procedures, document results, and provide feedback to engineering teams to improve safety and reliability. This project-based role requires hands-on testing, travel readiness, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in field testing or a related hands-on technical role.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, robotics platforms, or similar machinery.
• Ability to safely operate equipment following structured procedures and test instructions.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and communicating mechanical/electrical/software issues.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to produce accurate testing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, remote-controlled, semi-autonomous, and autonomous vehicle platforms during field testing.
• Execute structured test plans and validation scenarios to assess system performance.
• Perform vehicle inspections, setup, calibration, and pre-test readiness checks.
• Document test conditions, results, and observations accurately.
• Collect system logs, photos, videos, and other evidence for analysis.
• Provide feedback to engineers and support regression testing after software updates.
