Job summary

Avride, an Austin-based autonomous vehicle startup, seeks Automotive Vehicle Technicians to join a fast-paced team building and deploying advanced vehicle systems. This onsite role focuses on installation, integration, maintenance, and field support for autonomous fleets.

Candidates should have 5+ years in automotive service or robotics, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and the ability to mentor others. The role is full-time, onsite in North Austin with a pay range of $25–$30 per hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive service, robotics integration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AC/DC systems, sensors, wiring, and control modules.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and integration of vehicle hardware and sensors.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical/electrical issues.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Assess issues and determine corrective actions.
• Support field testing and deployments with troubleshooting.
