Ideal candidates will diagnose and work with electrical systems, sensor installations, and wiring harnesses, ensuring high-quality builds. Candidates must thrive in a team setting and adhere to SOPs while maintaining tools and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience using diagnostic tools and working with electrical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on vehicles for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate sensors, compute modules, wiring harnesses, and custom AV hardware.
• Execute vehicle retrofits and system integrations with focus on quality and throughput.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during build processes.
• Perform hardware updates, rework, and build corrections as needed.
• Follow SOPs to ensure consistent, repeatable builds.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and clear documentation of work performed.

As an Autonomous Vehicle Technician, you'll:

• Install and integrate sensors, compute modules, wiring harnesses, and custom AV hardware
• Execute vehicle retrofits and system integrations with a focus on quality and throughput
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during build processes
• Perform hardware updates, rework, and build corrections as needed
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, repeatable builds
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams
• Maintain tools, inventory, and clear documentation of work performed

• Proficient with mechanical and electrical tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
