Job summary

Bot Auto in the Greater Houston area is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support retrofitting and maintenance of autonomous trucks. You will work on wiring harnesses, cabling, and integration of autonomous systems, performing installations, tests, and quality checks on our fleet.

Responsibilities include detailed inspections, preventive maintenance of chassis, brakes, suspension, and ADAS-related components, plus diagnosing issues and coordinating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• In-house manufacturing and QA experience in assembly, installation, and cable routing.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, SOPs and BOMs.
• Automotive/mechanical systems experience; ADAS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrofit heavy duty trucks with autonomous driving systems including fabrication, cable routing, assembly, and testing.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to autonomous systems like sensor installation and cable connections.
• Manage tools, jigs, and materials as assigned.
