Job summary

Job Juncture in Austin is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician to retrofit autonomous hardware on heavy machinery. You will install a full hardware stack (electrical, mechanical, and CAN) across forklifts, wheel loaders, and diggers, helping deploy autonomy at scale across US sites.

With 4+ years in automotive, robotics, or heavy machinery, you will travel to customer sites (about 25%) to scope needs, install, commission, and test, and collaborate with platform engineering to improve Vehicle

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years experience in vehicle integration or automotive robotics.
Experience retrofitting on industrial vehicles.
Willingness to travel 25% to customer sites.
Strong hands-on hardware integration across electrical, mechanical, and CAN.

Responsibilities

Adapt platform hardware to fit each machine model and finalize the last 10%.
Build and install wiring harnesses, sensors, connectors, and actuators.
Visit customer sites for scoping, installation, commissioning, and testing.
Troubleshoot integration issues across electrical, mechanical, and software layers.
Record build issues and feedback to improve Vehicle Adapter Kits; ECU/embedded exposure is a plus.
