Job summary

Bee Talent Solutions is seeking an hands-on Autonomous Vehicle Technician in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and operating robotic platforms and modified vehicles, combining mechanical, electrical, and field support work.

You will install sensors and compute modules, diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical issues, and support field deployments with on-site service and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automotive service, retrofits, or robotics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical diagrams.
• Comfort with electrical systems and components.
• Soldering/crimping or basic prototyping skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate sensors, compute modules, wiring harnesses, and other hardware.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on robotic systems and vehicle platforms.
• Perform preventative maintenance, retrofits, and hardware updates.
• Support field deployments with on-site service, troubleshooting, and hardware swaps.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to support testing and prototyping.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and documentation of repairs and procedures.
