Trucking People is seeking Safety Drivers / Autonomous Vehicle Technicians to support daily autonomous vehicle testing and live passenger ride operations in Dallas. You will work with cutting-edge self-driving cars and delivery robots, ensuring safety, quality, and performance.

Role requires proficiency with tools, ability to read wiring diagrams, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Mileage is paid, and schedule is standard business hours in CST. Dallas, TX location.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic problem-solving mindset.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working around vehicles for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support daily autonomous vehicle testing and live ride operations.
• Integrate, install, and troubleshoot vehicle electronics, wiring harnesses, and sensor suites (LiDAR, radar, cameras).
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical schematics, and SOPs.
• Perform diagnostic checks using multimeters, electrical tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain logs and collaborate in a high-throughput production environment while following safety guidelines.
