Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Vehicle Integration Technician in Austin, TX, hybrid work environment. The role focuses on integrating and retrofitting hardware onto industrial vehicles to enable autonomous operation.

You will install harnesses, sensors, and controllers, and perform end-to-end testing at customer sites. We value 3–8 years of hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and CAN systems and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–8 years of experience in vehicle integration, robotics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical/CAN systems.

Responsibilities

• Adapt platform hardware to fit each machine model.
• Build and install wiring harnesses, connectors, mounts, sensors, and actuators on vehicles; perform checks.
• Visit customer sites to scope retrofit needs and carry out installation, commissioning and testing.
• Troubleshoot integration problems across electrical, mechanical and software layers; issue clear change requests.
• Record build issues and lessons learned to improve vehicle adapter kits; ECU/embedded experience a plus.
