Glydways is seeking a Product Design / Studio Engineer to join our Vehicle Engineering team. You will bridge Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering, translating concepts into robust, engineering-ready architectures for a high-capacity autonomous vehicle fleet.

You will collaborate with Industrial Designers, UX researchers, and cross-functional engineering groups (Structures, Electronics, Thermal) to shape interior and exterior design, from class-A surfacing to production-ready files, while

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience as a Product Design Engineer, PDE, or Studio Engineer in automotive, tech, or mobility.
• Strong portfolio showing complex physical architecture and high-density integration.
• Proficiency in advanced 3D surfacing and master-modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Champion design through mechanical engineering rigor and tradeoffs.
• Protect cosmetic/ergonomic vision while driving structural viability.
• Own vehicle architecture and high-volume manufacturability considerations.
• Lead CAD surfacing and create production-ready mechanical files.
• Prototype and validate ergonomics and aesthetics with quick-turn methods.
