Job summary

Source One Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a Test Technician to lead and execute software release testing for an autonomous ride-hauling system in Las Vegas. You will prepare vehicles, collect test data, and document defects while ensuring readiness prior to deployment.

The role requires at least 2 years in complex testing, hands-on experience with TestRail/Jira, and strong communication. This onsite contract is 6–12 months with possible extension, paying $45 per hour (W2).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in complex software or vehicle testing.
• Experience leading or supporting QA testing for software releases.
• Experience executing complex test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects using TestRail and Jira.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence or Azure DevOps.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead software release testing, execute complex test cases, and confirm software and vehicle readiness prior to deployment.
• Prepare vehicles and systems for test missions by launching software across multiple devices, verifying configurations, deploying software, capturing data, and escalating issues.
• Support vehicle operations, test missions, and data collection through in-vehicle and operational responsibilities.
• Analyze vehicle logs and test data to trace failures, support root cause analysis, document findings, and communicate results to engineering teams.
• Manage defects from identification through resolution, maintain accurate test results and readiness records.
• Develop targeted test cases for emergency and maintenance releases.
• Execute testing and data collection while identifying opportunities to improve processes and tools.
• Assist with paperwork related to vehicle readiness, testing, and mission support.
• Maintain a safety-first, inclusive, collaborative, and open communication environment.
