HireArt is hiring a Vehicle Testing Specialist to lead daily testing activities for autonomous vehicle programs in the Safford, AZ area. You will prepare development vehicles, run test plans, evaluate hardware/software readiness, and report results to software teams.

You should have hands-on AV/ADAS testing experience and familiarity with sensors like cameras and radar. The role involves coordinating with software engineers and operations, producing detailed testing notes, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware or software testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or related automotive systems.
• Working knowledge of autonomous vehicle hardware and software, including cameras and radar.
• Experience troubleshooting computers, vehicle systems, hardware, or software issues.
• Ability to prepare vehicles and related systems for testing and assess test readiness.
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AV and ADAS development vehicles for testing and execute test plans.
• Assess vehicle hardware and software readiness and identify issues affecting testing or functionality.
• Coordinate and improve testing procedures with software engineers and operations teams.
• Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results.
• Work with vehicle operators to conduct testing professionally and safely.
• Act as safety champion for the vehicle testing programs.
