Job summary

ISEE is developing autonomous yard truck technology and seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operator to support real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and field operations during development and customer deployments.

You will monitor trucks in real-time, gather logs, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document failures, and communicate with customers as a technical ambassador for ISEE's autonomy platform.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and support Autonomous Yard Trucks in real-time during field operations
• Provide troubleshooting technical support for hardware and software issues on prototype vehicles
• Review log data of system failures and autonomy system disengagements
• Isolate, track, document, and triage technical issues systematically
• Update knowledge base and diagnostic trees to improve troubleshooting efficiency
• Serve as a technical ambassador to customers regarding ISEE's autonomous vehicle technology

What You Need

• At least 21 years of age with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience
• Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving history verified by regular MVR check
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong focus on safety and procedure
• Ability to work in close quarters professionally for extended periods
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, early mornings, and holidays
• Capacity to use a laptop in a moving vehicle for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions for up to 10 hours per day
• Pass criminal background check and continually pass safety and performance checkpoints

Nice to Have

• Technical familiarity with Linux, Google Suite, Jira, Slack, and Git
• Experience working in professional environments that emphasize safety, honesty, procedure, and software testing
• Proven technical capability to work with modern automotive systems
• Ability to travel for up to one month
