Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking an Autonomous Specialist in Las Vegas to operate and evaluate a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, collect data and feedback, and provide ride-hail service to the public. The role emphasizes safety, situational awareness, and clear communication with management and engineers.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of driving experience, a high school diploma or GED (four-year degree preferred), and be able to work varied shifts; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with a laptop and GSuite apps such as Gmail, Sheets and Docs.
• Ability to operate touchscreen devices and type 40+ wpm.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to multitask in dynamic environments.
• Shift flexibility including mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high safety standards inside and outside the vehicle.
• Operate autonomous vehicle for data collection and public rides.
• Provide feedback on vehicle performance to engineers and management.
• Complete daily reports and test procedures.
• Interact with the public in a courteous, professional manner.
