Job summary

Transdev North America seeks an Autonomous Specialist to operate and evaluate self-driving vehicles, collect data, and provide ride-hail service to the public. You will monitor software systems, report on vehicle performance, and interact with riders with a focus on safety and courtesy.

The role emphasizes following established safety protocols, working shifts, and contributing to ongoing improvement of autonomous mobility solutions for communities across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads.
• High School Diploma or GED; a four-year college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles on defined and undefined routes, in varied environmental conditions.
• Provide rides in the autonomous vehicle to the general public.
• Monitor multiple software systems with focus and provide concise feedback.
• Complete daily reports and document procedures and tests.
• Interact with the public in a polite and professional manner while educating them on self-driving technology.
• Follow safety procedures and assist in vehicle recovery operations when needed.
