Training: Approximately 1 month of travel required

Rate: USD35/HR on W2

Job Overview

We are looking for an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Vehicle Operators and support safe, efficient day-to-day autonomous vehicle operations.

This is a hands-on player-coach role where you will work alongside Vehicle Operators, support software and hardware testing, provide coaching, and ensure operational and safety standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Vehicle Operators.
• Ensure safety procedures and operational standards are followed.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Support autonomous vehicle software and hardware testing.
• Coordinate shift activities, scheduling, and team operations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with operations leadership and contractors.
• Lead by example in a hands‑on operational environment.

Requirements

• 12+ months of Autonomous Vehicle Operator experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent driving history.
• Previous Lead, Instructor, Supervisor, or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
• 2+ years of autonomous vehicle/operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX.
• Willingness to travel for approximately 1 month of training.

Available Shifts

Day: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Night: 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM

Multiple Tuesday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, and Friday–Tuesday schedules are available.
