Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician to retrofit autonomous kit systems onto industrial vehicles, including forklifts and loaders. You will install power distribution, sensors, and CAN hardware, wiring harnesses, connectors, and mounting brackets, and verify with electrical, mechanical, and software checks.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience retrofitting kits into autonomous industrial machines.
• Hands-on, multi-skilled builder from automotive, robotics, autonomous driving, or heavy machinery.

Responsabilidades

• Adapt platform hardware (power distribution, harnesses, sensors, compute) to fit each machine model.
• Build and install wiring harnesses, connectors, mounting brackets, sensors, and actuators; perform continuity, voltage, power, and CAN/J1939 checks.
• Visit customer sites to scope retrofit needs; run installation, commissioning, debugging, and acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot integration problems across electrical, mechanical, and software layers; issue clear change requests to platform engineering.
• Record build issues and lessons learned to improve Vehicle Adapter Kits; ECU or embedded programming experience is a plus.
