Everforth Apex is seeking a Plant Issue Resolution Engineer for Fremont, CA, to drive rapid containment and durable corrective actions across assembly and end-of-line validation for autonomous vehicle programs.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, applying root cause analysis, and delivering measurable improvements in issue health and manufacturability. Onsite with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualificações

• BS/MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 6–8 years in automotive OEMs, robotics or complex hardware manufacturing.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions in production or launches.
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem solving in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead triage, containment, and resolution of issues identified during general assembly and end-of-line testing for autonomous mapping, validation fleet, and pre-production builds.
• Define and execute short-term containment actions, including rework plans, part quarantine, and build flow protection.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to lead root cause analysis across design, process, supplier, and manufacturing domains, identify and prioritize blockers, and drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements.
• Support cross-functional teams to implement permanent corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Support prototype builds, production trials, and engineering changes to validate fixes and improve manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track issue health, closure rates, and recurrence, and improve issue tracking processes.
