Job summary

WorkGenius Group is seeking a Project Coordinator, Regulatory Compliance in Austin, TX to manage vehicle registrations and autonomous vehicle permits across state and local jurisdictions.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and other teams to collect and verify documentation, maintain records, and ensure timely filings and compliance readiness for deployment.

Qualifications

• + 4+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory operations, permitting, fleet management, vehicle administration, or a related field.
• + Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills, with experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven documentation workflows.
• + Experience maintaining accurate records and tracking registrations, permits, renewals, filings, or other compliance obligations.
• + Excellent written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across legal, regulatory, operational, technical, and manufacturing teams.
• + Proactive, ownership-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving regulatory, operational, and fleet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of vehicle registrations and autonomous vehicle permits across applicable state and local jurisdictions, including applications, renewals, amendments, and decommissioning.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and other stakeholders to collect, verify, and submit required documentation, including VIN verifications, Manufacturers Certificates of Origin, and inspection records.
• Maintain accurate, traceable records of vehicle identification data, registration and permit status, expiration dates, filings, and supporting compliance documentation.
• Develop and manage tracking systems for deadlines, renewals, eligibility changes, audits, inspections, and other time-sensitive regulatory obligations.
• Translate evolving regulatory requirements into scalable internal procedures, controls, and documentation standards while resolving issues that could affect vehicle readiness or deployment.
