Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide autonomous urgent care services in Cedartown, GA. The role includes weekend and holiday rotations, performing minor procedures and prescribing medications.

You will order labs and imaging, determine treatment plans, and document all encounters in the patient record. The position requires a DEA license, NP licensure in the state, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of work.
• BLS certification required with expiration >90 days from start date.
• FNP/PNP certification as applicable to population served.
• Evidence of licensure as an RN and ability to prioritize and concentrate.

Responsabilidades

• Performs minor office-based medical and/or surgical procedures.
• Writes prescriptions and administers medications.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and radiology examinations.
• Determines treatment plan for patients.
• Documents encounters and interventions in medical records.
• Acts as patient advocate and participates in policy development.
• Contributes as a clinical resource and role model for team performance.
• Assesses practice needs and develops methods to meet them.
