Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care, part of CRH Healthcare, seeks an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an Urgent Care role in Newnan, GA. The position is part-time (float) with on-site shifts, offering autonomy, a broad patient mix, and meaningful community impact.

You will evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries, perform urgent procedures, and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia license as NP or PA.
• Current FNP or PA-C certification.
• At least two years of clinical experience as FNP or PA-C.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D).
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and labs.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per Georgia regulations.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure quality care.
