Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Cedartown Immediate Care is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to autonomously provide urgent care services in our clinic. The role includes weekend and holiday rotations, minor procedures, and collaboration with a secondary provider.

Candidates should have a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice, valid RN licensure, and certification as an FNP/PNP or equivalent, with DEA license eligibility and BLS current. Experience in urgent care is preferred.

Qualifications

• DEA license eligibility
• State NP licensure requirements
• Prescriptive authority eligibility
• Minimum 5 years ACP experience preferred
• BLS certification with >90 days validity

Responsibilities

• Performs urgent care procedures and minor office-based interventions.
• Prescribes medications and manages treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets labs and imaging.
• Maintains thorough patient documentation in medical records.
• Acts as patient advocate and participates in policy development.
