Job summary

SkySpecs is seeking a Production Technician at its Ann Arbor headquarters to perform hands-on assembly, maintenance, and testing of autonomous UAS and UGV platforms. The role supports new builds, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system integrations in a fast-paced production environment.

Applicants should have strong mechanical/technical aptitude, experience with assembly and troubleshooting, and the ability to read technical drawings and BOMs. FAA Part 107 or UAS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly and integration of autonomous UAS and UGV systems.
• Support new-build production and equipment redress.
• Maintain a clean, organized production workspace.
• Perform redress, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and sensor issues.
• Provide feedback to improve work instructions and documentation.
• Support system integration and functional testing.
