Job summary

Waabi is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair the Waabi class 8 autonomous trucking fleet in Dallas. You will work with a team to ensure safety and performance, performing repairs per guidelines and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, collaborating with teams on new features, and supporting operators with procedures and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a technician or mechanic in automotive/heavy-duty tech.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for electrical/mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and vehicle maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of Class 8 autonomous trucking fleet.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, sensors).
• Perform repairs and component replacements per guidelines and safety protocols.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory; provide operator support.
