Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Autonomous Training Specialist to shape and advance our training programs across the organization. You will mentor teams, implement competency-based training, and align with safety and regulatory standards to support safe mine operations.

The role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, development of varied training methods, and continuous improvement to achieve performance goals in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in surface mining with leadership.
• Experience in training, scheduling and facilitation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Promote and model safety behaviors and lead by example.
• Knowledge of MSHA, State, and ATF regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop trainees with minimal supervision.
• Lead training plans and drive safe, efficient production.
• Collaborate autonomously with stakeholders across departments.
• Design and implement diverse training methods (workshops, demos).
• Lead Competency-Based Training across all NGM properties.
