Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design of autonomous control systems for off-highway machinery. Based in Minneapolis, you will develop ROS2-based solutions, integrate LiDAR and GNSS data, and collaborate with customers to tailor deployments to their platforms.

You will work across software and hardware domains, using PLUS+1 GUIDE and CAN bus to connect high-level autonomy with low-level control, while upholding rigorous safety standards and contributing to

Qualifications

• Experience in architecting autonomous navigation and control systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for performance-critical algorithms in Linux.
• Familiarity with ROS2 and sensing modalities (LiDAR, GNSS, cameras).

Responsibilities

• Architect and build autonomous systems using ROS2 for off-highway vehicles.
• Design and optimize algorithms for sensor fusion, path planning and navigation.
• Collaborate with customers to deploy and validate systems on-site.
• Bridge software and hardware using PLUS+1 GUIDE and CAN bus.
• Ensure safety and reliability following ISO 13849/25119 standards.
