Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation seeks licensed Speech Language Pathologists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities in Newark area. You’ll build meaningful patient relationships, manage your own schedule, and apply evidence-based therapy to improve communication and function.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state(s) of practice or eligible to obtain
• Degree from accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification
• Current ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in homes or senior living communities
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, deliver evidence-based treatment
• Deliver therapy to support wellness, mobility, independence
• Document in EMR per regulatory standards
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate
