Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Greensboro, NC seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for home and community-based rehabilitation. The role emphasizes functional rehab outside institutional settings, including real-life activities like shopping, cooking, and workplace tasks.

You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, with collaboration from families and the treatment team. Flexible schedule with per-hour pay and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required and licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient transfer up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
