Job summary

Adoration Health in Tarboro, NC is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders. You will deliver 1:1 care with flexible hours and clinical autonomy.

Responsibilities include progress reassessment, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team to optimize patient outcomes. Prior experience in geriatric or home health settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
• ASHA CCC certification currently active.
• CPR certification current; TB skin test required.
• One year of SLP experience preferred; familiarity with geriatric and home health.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving or transferring patients up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations; provide safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
