Job summary

Adoration Health in Virginia seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in independent living, assisted living, or home health settings. You will deliver 1:1 care with clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, ASHA CCC, CPR, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. A background in geriatric care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure to practice SLP.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in team conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
