Adoration Health is seeking a passionate Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Wilmington, NC. The role focuses on one-on-one patient care in a home health setting, delivering patient-centered therapy and collaborating with families and care teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating speech or language needs, teaching articulation and voice techniques, and guiding others in therapeutic exercises. This PRN position emphasizes flexible scheduling and patient impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language needs and determine continued therapy.
• Teach patients how to produce sounds and improve voice quality.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside direct sessions.
• Document progress and clinical notes and submit visit documentation per agency policy.
