Job summary

Designtex, a leading textile and applied materials company, seeks a Sales Representative to join our team in the Philadelphia region. This autonomous, relationship-driven role focuses on expanding accounts across textiles, wallcoverings, and print solutions while building deep connections with A&D firms and end users.

You will manage opportunities from concept to order, coordinate samples and pricing, and collaborate with regional teams to resolve issues and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role within commercial design, contract furniture, real estate, textiles, or related finish materials.
• Experience selling to or partnering with A&D firms, end users, or dealers.
• Strong understanding of the commercial sales cycle and design community dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a territory strategy for Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania, including growth priorities and target accounts.
• Driving revenue across textiles, wallcoverings, and print solutions by expanding existing accounts and developing new business.
• Building relationships with A&D firms, end users, dealers, contractors, and commercial partners to influence specifications.
• Coordinating samples, pricing, product availability, and technical questions to move opportunities from concept to order.
• Maintaining CRM records, updating forecasts and opportunities, and conducting 4–5 client meetings per day.
• Collaborating with sales leadership, customer service, marketing, and product teams to resolve issues and advance growth.
• Planning travel and client visits to manage the territory autonomously.
