Job summary

Capgemini's Sogeti division is seeking a Field Tester to operate and calibrate autonomous robot systems across client sites in the Mendon/Logan, UT area. You will conduct hands-on and semi-autonomous tests, train colleagues and clients on safe command and control software, and help shape deployment strategies and test plans.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 3–5 years of testing, validation, or related technical roles are preferred.
• Define test requirements and configure test tracks to simulate real-world conditions.
• Work with engineers, software developers, and trainers to align activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment manually, via tele-operations, semi-autonomously, and autonomously to evaluate performance.
• Maintain a safe testing environment by following safety standards and site protocols.
• Collaborate with teams to understand CONOPs, planned use cases, and test design.
• Document inspections, test procedures, results, and maintenance activities with clear reports.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
• Calibrate, diagnose, and troubleshoot robotic systems with engineering and support teams.
