Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc (ASI) seeks a Field Tester to support remote operation, calibration, test, and fielding of semi-autonomous and autonomous robot systems. You will collaborate with engineers and product teams to advance robotics solutions for real-world applications and train colleagues and clients on system use and safety.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience with heavy equipment or varied industries.
• Leadership, foreman, or supervisor experience.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate in a related technical field (or equivalent).
• Strong test experience.
• Strong teaching or training experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, robotics, agriculture or related field.
• Instructor certificate.
• OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain).
• Prior experience with robotics or autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment manually, tele-operationally, semi-autonomously, and autonomously to test performance.
• Maintain a safe testing and fielding environment by enforcing safety standards and site protocols.
• Collaborate with program and engineering teams to understand CONOPs and test requirements.
• Document inspections, procedures, results, and maintenance; prepare reports.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Calibrate, diagnose, and troubleshoot robotic systems with engineering teams.
• Define test requirements and configure test tracks to simulate real-world conditions.
• Work with a cross-functional team to align development, calibration, testing, and fielding activities.
• Develop training plans and deliver vehicle- and robot-specific instruction for team members and customers.
• Perform on-site configuration, calibration, acceptance testing and customer training.
