Job summary

Capgemini is seeking Field Tester II in Mendon, Utah to validate autonomous software through real-world vehicle testing, simulation testing, and data analysis. Onsite ramp-up involves learning to operate construction/heavy equipment during two weeks.

The role requires hands-on testing experience with vehicle systems, CAN/LIN protocols, and ADAS features, with a focus on identifying risks and effective mitigation strategies in a dynamic testing environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software/hardware testing, validation, or quality assurance.
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar) for test automation and data analysis.
Experience with CAN/LIN Protocols and Vehicle Testing.
Experience with ADAS feature testing.
Experience with Harness.
Experience troubleshooting complex system behaviors in real-world and simulation environments.
Strong ability to identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

Field Tester II includes all Field Tester I responsibilities with additional involvement in simulation testing and basic data collection and analysis.
All levels require individuals who are mentally and physically comfortable learning how to operate and test construction/heavy equipment during a two-week on-site ramp-up period.
