Job summary

RobCo in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Field Solutions Engineer to lead deployment of autonomous robotics at customer sites across the United States.

You will own projects end-to-end, coordinate across engineering, design, assembly, test, operations, and field teams, and ensure deployments meet timelines and performance goals.

This role demands hands-on leadership, deep technical fluency, exceptional communication, and willingness to travel regularly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Robotics or related field.
  • 5+ years deploying large autonomous systems.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex projects end-to-end.
  • Autonomous leadership with proactive problem solving.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own robotics deployment from scoping to commissioning at customer sites.
  • Lead on-site deployments and cross-functional coordination.
  • Plan and document projects with timelines and milestones.
  • Design scalable deployment processes and workflows.
  • Provide on-site support and training to customers.
  • Create detailed technical documentation and guides.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams for continuous improvement.
